The Note Overlay

The Note Overlay is a quick-capture notes panel that slides over the atbridge AI Chat. It’s a lightweight view of atbridge Notes — for jotting something down, or grabbing an existing note, without leaving the conversation.

What it’s for

• Capture mid-chat. The AI gives you a good paragraph — save it to a note in one move, no window-switching.
• Pull a note in. Grab a note from your atbridge Notes folder and hand it to the AI as context.
• Stay in flow. The overlay sits over the chat, so your conversation and your notes are one workspace.

Set the folder

The overlay reads and writes your atbridge Notes folder — the same folder the editor, the AI and the CLI use. Choose it in Settings. For the full editor (diagrams, audio, links), open atbridge Notes.
