The auto-triaged inbox
The outcome: every morning, you open your AI chat, paste one prompt, and 60 seconds later you have a sorted view of what’s in your inbox + drafted replies for everything that needs one.
The prompt
Section titled “The prompt”Run it wherever your AI lives — the @bridge AI Chat inside Thunderbird, Claude Desktop, or any connected AI. Paste this:
Triage my Thunderbird inbox. For each message:
- Skip if it’s a notification, newsletter, or automated noise.
- Otherwise, classify as: “needs reply”, “FYI”, “action item”, or “later”.
- For “needs reply”: draft a short reply (don’t send — just open a draft).
- For “action item”: extract a one-line TODO.
- For “later”: move to my “Later” folder.
When you’re done, summarise: how many of each category, and the top 3 messages that need my attention today.
Your AI does the rest. It works through your inbox, drafts what needs drafting, moves what needs moving, and gives you the summary.
Variations to try
Section titled “Variations to try”Daily digest at a specific time. Tell your AI to focus on messages from the last 24 hours only:
Same triage, but only messages received since 6 PM yesterday.
Project-specific. Filter by subject:
Same triage, but only messages with “Example Corp” or “Project Skyline” in the subject.
Calendar-aware follow-ups. atbridge.ai reads your calendar too:
After triage, for any “needs reply” that mentions scheduling, propose 3 times next week from my free slots.
(Or just run the /next-free-slot skill for an
instant answer — see Stay on top of your week.)
How much it costs you
Section titled “How much it costs you”About 1 action per 10 messages triaged. So a 50-message inbox is about 5 actions. On Personal (300 / month) that’s ~6000 messages triaged per month — well over what you can read. On Pro it’s unlimited.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- Search & summarise — pull the pulse on a customer or project
- Team announcements — branded one-prompt company updates
- The branded weekly digest — Pro tier’s hero feature
