Follow-up email template — a nudge that works
Most replies come from the follow-up, not the first email. The follow-up email template keeps it short and warm: reference the prior thread, restate the value in a line, and make the next step obvious — no guilt, no wall of text. Tell atbridge what you’re following up on.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”Following up on a proposal, a quote, an intro, or an unanswered ask — anywhere a gentle, specific nudge moves things forward.
What’s inside
Section titled “What’s inside”Deliberately minimal: a one-line reference to the prior thread, a restated value or next step, a single CTA, and a friendly sign-off.
Create one in seconds
Section titled “Create one in seconds”Ask: “follow up with Priya on last week’s reporting idea — offer a quick sample board, ask if Thursday or Friday suits.”
Or:
atbridge compose templates show follow-upatbridge compose render --spec followup.json
Pairs with the cold outreach template. More in Branded Email.
