Use your atbridge Notes

The outcome: the answer you worked out once, written down once, gets reused — the AI writes the reply from your own notes instead of asking you to paste them in again.

There is nothing to build here. If you already keep notes, you already have this. It suits knowledge you write and edit yourself; for material that is synced from elsewhere, see Use an OpenAI Vector Store.

In the atbridge AI Chat, ask for what you want:

Reply to this. We have a note about our refund policy — use what it says, and keep the wording close to it.

The AI looks through your notes, opens the ones it needs, and writes the reply from them.

How the AI reaches your notes

Two routes, and they are worth knowing apart:

• It goes looking. The AI can list, search and open your notes on its own while answering. You do not preselect anything.
• You hand one over. Use Use as context on a note to attach it to a message — you can attach several — or turn on Plug as Context in the Notes editor to keep one note live for a whole conversation, editing the note instead of re-explaining.

Tip

Be specific about which note when it matters. “Use our refund policy note” beats “use my notes” — the AI picks from a list of everything you have, so naming the note gets you there directly.

Tip

Ask, and it does the whole job. In the AI Chat the model can read the email you’re looking at and search your notes in the same turn — “find our refund-policy note and reply to this using it” is one request.

The one place notes don’t reach is the compose window’s Email Compose dock, which is text-only; for your own knowledge while writing there, use the Vector Store. Notes in chat needs Personal or Pro; the Notes editor itself is free on every plan.

Answer from a standard reply you keep:

Use my “shipping times” note to answer this, adjusted for a customer in Norway.

Keep a style guide live:

Open the note with our tone-of-voice rules, plug it as context, then rewrite this draft to match it.

Let it write the note back:

Summarise what we agreed in this thread and save it as a new note I can reuse next time.

How much it costs you

Notes are not metered — reading, searching and saving them does not draw on your monthly actions on any plan. The reply itself is one action, as always. Your notes stay on your machine; nothing about them is uploaded to atbridge.ai.
