What atbridge.ai needs to run, at a glance.

Thunderbird

Thunderbird 128 ESR or newer — the current Extended Support Release. Check yours via Help → About Thunderbird; get Thunderbird if you don’t have it.

All three surfaces — mail, contacts, and calendar — are supported on the same floor. There is no separate, higher version requirement for calendar.

Note

About Thunderbird 151 and calendar. Thunderbird 151 changed an internal calendar API (it removed cal.createEvent()). atbridge.ai handles both the older and newer shapes, so calendar event creation works on 128 ESR and 151+. If you ever see “An unexpected error occurred” creating an event, make sure you’re on the latest atbridge.ai — that path is the one we hardened for 151.

Operating systems

atbridge.ai ships a native binary for seven targets:

The installer auto-detects your OS and architecture. Thunderbird itself runs on all three desktop platforms; on a Raspberry Pi class device the ARM build lets a Pi-hosted Thunderbird use atbridge.ai too.

What else you need

• At least one mail account configured in Thunderbird, with offline storage (“Keep messages for this account on this computer”) enabled — atbridge.ai searches your local copies. Install verifies this for you.

atbridge.ai works with Thunderbird on the desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux).
