Attach files & context
Give the atbridge AI Chat context from your own files. Use + → Attach context, pick a file, and its text rides along with your next message as a context chip you can remove any time.
What you can attach
Section titled “What you can attach”- Text & code — prose, Markdown, CSV/JSON/YAML, config, source files, and more (anything readable as text).
- Documents — Word / Excel / PowerPoint, OpenDocument (
.odt/.ods/.odp), RTF, EPUB, and PDF (best-effort text). - A note — attach an atbridge Note as context.
- Images & audio — delegated to the perception / audio model you configured (an image is described; audio is transcribed) and attached as text.
Extracted locally
Section titled “Extracted locally”Files are parsed on your machine by the atbridge host — only the resulting text is attached, and the extracted text counts toward the model’s context budget (you’ll see it in the composer’s budget meter). atbridge never uploads your files to its own servers.
